Jennita Russo

Jennita Russo's talents have been in high demand as she brings over 25 years of professional experience and outstanding credentials to the world of live entertainment for stage and television. 

 

With an early start as a professional dancer, and choreographer, Jennita's artistic background  and experience has led her to an exciting multidimensional career.

 

Jennita turned professional dancer at the young age of 16 performing with world renowned companies such as the Pennsylvania Ballet, Co. Milwaukee Ballet and Feld Ballets/ NY. Jennita continued her dance career with an invitation to dance with Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Project, ODC/ San Francisco and with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where she also served as Rehearsal Director. Jennita then took her talents to the Las Vegas theatrical world performing with Celine Dion’s ‘A New Day’ at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

 

After retiring from performing in 2008, Jennita turned her focus to Choreography,  Creative Directing, and Stage Managing. Jennita’s work includes partnerships with A-List Artists, Live Entertainment and Sporting Event Corporations, and world renowned venues including: Celine Dion, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Andreas Boccelli’, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Naomi and Wynonna Judd, Cirque du Soleil, Disney’s California Adventure, NBC's America's Got Talent, ABC's Bachelor Live on Stage, All-Star Events with National Hockey League and, Major League Baseball, FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, and Craig Ferguson Live Show at Radio City Music Hall.

For 5 years, Jennita worked with Beyonce´ and JayZ on the World Tour of 'On The Run' as Theatrical Stage Director.  Her stage and TV credits with Beyonce´also include the 2013-2014 'Mrs. Carter  World Tour', 2014 MTV VMA award show/Los Angeles, HBO 'On The Run' TV special, 2012 come back show ‘Back To Business’ at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, and the 2013 SuperBowl Halftime performance in New Orleans.

 

Jennita also served as  Choreographer/ Creative Director for grammy nominated pop star, Charli XCX. Her work includes perormances at the 2014 American Music Awards LA ( Boom Clap/Break The Rules)... "Need Ur Love' perfomance on David Letterman, Saturday NIght Live ('Boom Clap/ Break The Rules), and a music video Rita Ora.

In 2017, Jennita was brought the Stage Production Team of Kendrick Lamar's 'Damn" Tour to assist as Show Caller.

 

When she is not traveling the globe, you'll find Jennita in the kitchen, at her home base in Las Vegas.
